I completed my Supervision training in 2009 through KRCS / University College Plymouth PG cert ( with Merit).

I am qualified and experienced in facilitating both group and individual supervision.

The model of supervision I have chosen to use is the Hawkins / Shohet (1989/2000) process model. (six eyed model) additional Carroll's seventh eye.

In this model the focus is on the process of the supervision relationship. It is a double matrix model. Hawkin's and Shohet state that at any time in supervision there are many levels operating and at a minimum, all supervision situations involve at least four elements:

Supervisor

Supervisee

Client

Work context

The seven eyed model of supervision adds on the organizational context.

Professional code of ethics, organizational constraints and expectations, family social context, social norms, economic realities / pressure etc.
