The model of supervision I have chosen to use is the Hawkins / Shohet (1989/2000) process model. (six eyed model) additional Carroll's seventh eye. |

In this model the focus is on the process of the supervision relationship. It is a double matrix model. Hawkin's and Shohet state that at any time in supervision there are many levels operating and at a minimum, all supervision situations involve at least four elements:
